History
Founded in 1983 by Tony Liu, COPA Development Corporation has successfully completed over two hundred projects, earning a reputation of for being a premier builder of luxury homes.
Tony began his career in construction after obtaining his degree in civil engineering from the University of Manitoba, receiving the designation of Professional Engineer. Armed with the valuable knowledge and experience he gained while working for major construction companies in Western Canada, Tony started his own business in residential and light commercial construction. Over the past 37 years, he has assembled a team of expert tradesmen who share his dedication in the pursuit of building excellence, especially in premier luxury custom homes.
Philosophy and contributions
Following the principle of honesty, professionalism, and endeavour to achieve excellence, Tony has continuously improved quality and customer experience. This unrelenting drive has earned COPA Development prominence and recognition form colleagues and clients alike.
Tony is involved and contributes to the home building industry. He was the director and vice chairperson of Greater Vancouver Home Builder’s Association, a member of City of Vancouver RS-1 Zoning advisory Committee, on the Building Board of Appeal, and the Technical Coordinator and Instruction of UBC continuing education course “Anatomy of a House”.
